John Cowie Trophy – Wednesday 6th May
The draw for the highly anticipated JC Trophy has been completed. See details below. Handicaps will be updated just before the event.
Yellow Tees and 95% of Club Handicaps subject to a gross maximum 28
Prizes for First, Second and Third and Nearest the pin on the 17th as well as the JC Trophy for the winner.

Today’s team game: holes 1-6 one score to count; holes 7-12, two scores; and holes 13-18, all three to count. 19 players competed for a prize pot of £38, with no second place.
Two teams completed the round with a score of 68: Bob Damberg, Mick North, and Alex Fogwill; and Roland Lovett, Guy Turner, and Stuart Clarke. However, the team of Rod Bird, Ken Robinson, and Arthur Noble secured victory with a score of 69. £12 each and £2 to Staff tips.
Congratulations to all players who persevered firstly the bitterly cold winds early on and then increasingly gusty conditions as the day warmed up.
Don’t forget winning a team event now means a loss of shot for all players and if there were a second place (20 and over players) they would lose 0.5 each.
