The morning Draw
With summer approaching, there has been an increase in attendance of Dawn Patrollers and a few new members, prompting the implementation of a new procedure.
The first three groups will be drawn at 07:30, providing them ample time to prepare for tee-off at 07:40, which marks the beginning of the roll-up slot. Subsequently, the main draw will be paused until 07:40, allowing later arrivals adequate time to include their ball in the draw.
The JC (John Cowie) Trophy List is up on the Notice Board
To those who do not know John, he was one of the original members of the Dawn Patrol with a terrific sense of humour and wit. He was our original compere for the DP Xmas meal and started the whole idea of issuing presents to those unfortunates to be in his firing line.
An annual competition is held in his honour and this year it will be held on the 8th of May
Curtesy to Cleaning and Bar Staff
A polite note to all members when the draw concludes can you please replace the chairs back to their original positions and put any used cups on the bar counter – Many Thanks
