Monday 6th May – Fun Competition in aid of Captains Charity
Please be aware that there is no Dawn Patrol on this date as the competition overlaps with our normal 08:00 to 09:00 DP Slot.

We have 10 flights of 3 balls so could we please ask you to be ready and on the tee box 10 minutes before your scheduled time.
The format will be Singles Stableford with 90% of Club Handicaps off the yellow tees. Max handicap will be 28.
There will be a one course meal afterwards, lasagne, but if there are any dietary requirements/vegetarian could you please let me know soonest. Lunch is planned for 1.30-1.45pm with the trophy presentation afterwards by Kathleen Cowie.

Texas Scramble 4 balls – Going forward
For future Dawn Patrol team Texas Scrambles we will test a new strategy for 4 balls playing alongside 3 balls.
As you know all 3 balls sum their handicaps and subtract 10% of the total handicap off the match total.
For 4 balls you should now sum the lowest 3 handicaps and subtract 5% of the total handicap off the match total.

Here are the Results for the Week
Before we proceed a note about Kevin’s misfortune last week Friday. His 38 lost the overall to Crispin’s 39. He then lost out with a 20 on the Front 9 to Rod’s 21. Then, to top it all, after a count back on the back 9 and being equal on the back 6 and equal on the back 3, Kevin lost out on the last hole to Terry by one shot!!! Must try harder Kevin.
