As of today, this new change applies – A player can only win one of the three payouts on offer on any one day.
Previously a player could win the Overall, Front 9 and Back 9 scooping the total pot. Going forward an outright win will only take the Overall portion. The player coming second on the Front 9 will take the Front 9 payout and the player coming second on the Back 9 will take the Back 9 payout. If the Front 9 and Back 9 are the same player, the Back 9 will be paid out the next in line. This will insure three different players will take home a part of the pot. The handicap adjustment would be applied to each of these winners. Overall (-1), Front 9 (-0.5) and Back 9 (-0.5).
As a reminder the winner’s pot is split as follows Overall 50%, Front and Back 9’s 25% each.
