Dawn Patrol Playday Draw (Balls in the hat)
Going forward the Dawn Patrol draw will be conducted in the clubhouse. This so that we are not hanging around getting cold (or wet) while waiting to go out. Draw for 1st and 2nd tee times at 07:45 and then as each group gets underway.
Obvious this does not apply to Mondays while the Cliff Rogers is in progress.
JC Trophy – 10th May 2024
A date for the diary, we have provisionally organised the JC (John Cowie) Trophy for Friday 10th May with a snack afterwards.
For those unfamiliar with John, he was among the founding members of the Dawn Patrol, characterised by a terrific sense of humour and wit. He was our original compere for the DP Xmas meal and started the whole idea of issuing presents to those unfortunates to be in his firing line. His wife, Kathleen usually honours us with her presence and presents the trophy to the winner. Last year it went to Alex Fogwill.
All DP Members are invited to play, whether you knew John or not and the list will be posted on Notice Board nearer the time.
Seniors Open – 5th June 2024
Please be aware that bookings are open and tee times are filling for the Seniors Open on the 5th June. £20 members £40 visitors. (Note these prices are correct even though IG says £25/£50). Access through the IG app.
