Saga Louts Fight Back defeating the Dawn Patrol 4 – 2
Match 1: Charles Gerty and Kevin Wilford lost 2 down
Charley and Kevin were dormy 4 down, then won the next 3 holes but lost on 18 to one of the Saga Louts who had a shot.
Match 2: Alan Fussel and Dave New won 1 up
Well done Alan and Dave a great win.
Match 3: Ken Robinson and Steve Haresnape lost 2 down
Ken and Steve lost on 18 when a win would have earnt a half.
Match 4: Alex Fogwill and Bob Pippett lost 4and 3
A bit decisive, but I’m sure you enjoyed the game.
Match 5: Andy Platt and Martin Taylor won 7 and 6
Wow the good old dog licence. Well played Andy and Martin.
Match 6: Trevor George and Rod Bird Lost 2 and 1
A few missed puts early in the round resulted in this score.

Senior Men’s Club Championship – Mon 14th July

The Seniors Club Championship served up a dramatic and closely fought battle on Monday the 14th July, with Tom Roberton and Darren Buss each scoring an impressive round of 77 to top the leader board, forcing a thrilling three-hole playoff to decide the winner.
It was the third and final playoff hole where Tom edged ahead with a solid putt.
Congratulations to both players for a superb contest, and especially to Tom on a hard-earned and well-deserved victory. The match will be remembered for its quality of play, sportsmanship, and nail-biting finish.
