Dawn Patrol Handicap reset on the 1st April.
Message from James Short:
“We are excited to announce that our Summer Courses will be starting on Saturday, April 5th ready for The Spring Cup which will be played from the White Tees, the preferred lies rule will be removed, and we look forward to seeing all of you out on the course enjoying the beautiful Spring weather”.
As you have seen the Handicaps and winnings counters have been re-set. Today Friday 4th April we played off the Winter Yellow Slope and Course Rating. This will be change over the weekend to the Summer Yellows ready for Monday 7th April.

Steve Haresnape is pleased to announce the following arrangements for 32 players – 8 x 4 balls
Coffee and bacon roll on arrival
18 holes of golf followed by a Basket meal
Cost £45.00.
There will be a Singles competition and a Team Bowmaker 3 from 4 to count with prizes in both categories.
The sign-up sheet has been posted. Please indicate dietary requirements and if you need a buggy.

Monday 31st March
No DP due to the Seniors Sloper Trophy
Wednesday 2nd April
Texas Scramble Team Game. We had an impressive turnout of 31 players, contributing a total prize pot of £62. As we had over 20 players, there was a first and second prize awarded. (2/3 to first and 1/3 to second).
Winners with an overall total of 63.0 and taking £13 each (£2 to charity), Paul Stephen, Gordon Allen and Bob Pippett.
In 2nd place with 65.4 on countback and taking £7 each, Rod Bird, Darren Buss and Stuart Clarke.
Beten into 3rd place on countback was the 4 ball, Bob Damberg, Chris Chadwick, Garry Young and Shaun Wyatt.
