The Seniors AGM
In accordance with the Seniors Constitution, the Seniors Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Thursday 19th of February 2026 at 12:00. Official notification has been published on both the website and the Seniors noticeboard. The running order is: Prizegiving, the Annual General Meeting followed by Lunch. It would be good to see as many of you as possible for the AGM and if you’d also like to stay for lunch, please sign-up on the Seniors noticeboard.
Winter Foursomes
Congratulations to Vaughan Bristow and Alex Annal (both Dawn Patrollers) on their superb 4 & 2 victory over Barry Cotter and Steve Haresnape in the Seniors Winter Foursomes. This was an outstanding achievement in a tough knockout competition that attracted 19 pairs (38 entries) and was contested over five demanding rounds. The final was played in dreadful weather conditions, but full credit to both teams for showing real determination and sportsmanship by sticking it out to complete the competition. A thoroughly deserved win and a fantastic result all round.

Monday 2nd February 2026
No Dawn Patrol due to the penuliimate Cliff Rogers comp.
Wednesday 4th February 2026
Six teams turned out for today’s team event. The format was best 2 from 3 and the winners were Trevor George, Martin Hill, and Alex Fogwill with an excellent score of 79 points, earning £6 each.
Remember: If there are over 20 or over players, there will be first and second prize awarded. (2/3 to first and 1/3 to second)
