Ron Ron and Syd Davies

A message from our Captain Colin Simmonds…. may I also take this opportunity to remind you of the two prestigious Seniors Knock Outs, this Spring? Namely the Syd Davies singles and the Ron Ron Doubles remain ‘open’ for entries either ‘on-line’ or on the sign-up sheet on the Seniors Notice Board in the Men’s Changing Room. Entries will Close at 06:00 on Monday 8th April and the Draw made later that day.

Please be respectively reminded that you all will need to have paid your Seniors Subscription of £5:00 as well as the Competition Entry fees of £3:00 for the Syd Davies and £6:00 per pair for the Ron Ron to be eligible for Entry in the Draw.

Fairway Divot Repair and Maintenance

A message from Shane Goulding:

Gentlemen, 

Colin has asked me to arrange a divot party to help with fairway maintenance.

In the autumn of last year we provided 8/10 able bodies to support Alan Feltham in this working party over two days  Mark Ford the Head Greenkeeper was very appreciative of this valuable maintenance.

Can I ask for 8/10 Seniors to volunteer to support this initiative again via email or IG message 

Ideally 2 x 9 holes, on 9th and or 11th April, 9am – 11.30am.

So a 2.5hr session x 2 days. No heavy lifting just soil and seed tossed into divot holes. ( If you can please bring a small bucket to carry the soil/seed mix.)

Arthur will arrange for coffee and a bacon roll afterwards for those able to support this initiative.
